3 Years Old!!!
So I am not totally sure how this happened but our little man has turned 3...3?!?!?! On one hand it seems like a lifetime and on the other hand I can't believe he has gotten so big. To say the last three years were a journey would be quite the understatement but looking back I wouldn't have it any way. If we hadn't encountered all the things we have these past 3 years none of us would be who we are today and honestly, I like us...I like us a lot! ;) I have learned more about resilience and kindness and love and heartache from a 3 year old than I have known in my whole life. Everyday he opens my eyes to new and amazing things and I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful little angel to call my own! Happy birthday little man, I love you more than the stars and the fishies and the sand!!
Ok, enough with the sappy Mommy stuff, let's talk about our little guys birthday celebrations, because of course you can't turn 3 without some partying going on!! :) The weekend before Logan's birthday this year was the Atlanta Concours d'Elegance, a car show my Dad has been working to put on for the last 2 years. This meant there was a lot of stuff happening that weekend but it also meant that we had a lot of wonderful family in town who got to celebrate both the Concours and Logan! Since we had so many people in town we decided to just do a small (I say small but it ended up about 25 people) family birthday party on Monday afternoon before everyone headed back home. It ended up being an absolutely beautiful day and we had a blast hanging out with everyone and having such a great group of family and loved ones around to celebrate our lil guy! Here are some pictures from the day, thanks for everyone who joined us and for everyone who sent their love and birthday wishes and cards & gifts. We love you all more than you know!!
So lucky to have so many Grandparents and Great Grandpa there to celebrate with us! (We missed you Pops, Sassy, GG June and GG Mark!) |
