Camp & More!

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend and stayed cool! It sure is hot here in Atlanta☀️!!

Last week was very busy for Logan! It started off like every Monday with Speech and Aqua Therapy! He did great at both! His vocabulary is expanding and he is really working hard on his 2 and 3 word phrases! At Aqua, our little Water Bug is still progressing with his swimming skills and he loves to put his head under water!  He can hold his breath for almost 9 seconds now and if you are lucky you might even see him sporting goggles at times!

On Tuesday and Friday he went to Nature Camp! There was a visitor on Tuesday that brought some pretty cool and unique animals for the campers to see! Logan loved meeting each creature but was a little hesitant on petting them, especially the snake! But so was Miss Erica!!!😁

We also met some new friends this week. One little girl loved her some Logie! Her name is Lydia and she was precious! Here are a few pics of her and Logan. She even rode him around in a cool double seated bike!!

Play Dough Fun! (plus a secret admirer!)
Logie and his lunch mates!
Love exploring the new toys!
Long day...so sleepy...
My daughter Payton joined myself and Logan on Wednesday! This was a special treat😊 That morning her and Logan splashed around in his Water Table!

Splash, splash, splash!
After cooling off with some water fun, we headed to Alpheretta for Hippo Therapy!! This was Payton's first time seeing the little guy on a Horse!! She was quite impressed and so is his therapist on his progress! He is talking so much more to her and that is actually hard to do as he holds up his core!! Logan does not seem to mind having his helmet on anymore, which is so great, he used to not like it one bit!  Now if only we can get him to wear a real hat too!

All smiles with Payton!!
Loving my horsey time!
To end the day the three of us joined Mommy for lunch at a great Sandwich Shop near her work. I always love for Payton to spend time with Melissa and Logan! It makes P so happy! I think Logie might enjoy seeing Payton too!❤️

Quick Mommy interjection here:  On Thursday we went to see Dr. Bruce, Logan's orthopedic, and he was SO impressed at how Logan looked and how he was doing!!  The Botox this second time really has made a huge difference and has lasted a pretty long time now.  We are looking at mid September for his next round, hopefully it will be as successful!  After our appointment we headed to OT, Mommy doesn't usually get to go because I am a bit distracting but we were able to set it up so that I could sneak in after they started and watch him.  He did great!!  He made me a flower by ripping paper and gluing and was loving putting all the money in the piggy bank (maybe it's his Jewish side coming out!).  hehe  ;)  Now back to Erica...

Friday was the last day of Nature Camp. Logan had a great time! Some of his favorite activities were playing in the kitchen, getting dirty outside, riding bikes, meeting new friends and eating yummy ice cream! He got a little messy eating is Wacky Watermelon Popsicle! But it sure was fun and refreshing😄🍧

It truly was a great and eventful week for this busy guy and I enjoyed every minute watching him grow and enjoy each day! Looking forward to another awesome week ahead and our last week of Summer Camp!!

❤️
Erica
