Logan's Journey

Good Afternoon! I am so sorry it has been almost two weeks since I last posted in the Blog:-( We have so much to tell you and lots of great pictures of our sweet Logan😄 Logie is doing wonderful at School. Making friends and having fun. I am so proud of him and how well he is with other children. He smiles and shares which is sometimes hard for a lot of two year olds. His favorite buddies seems to be Sam, Bonnie and Emma. He is cruising around the classroom like a champ, of course always starting in the kitchen! He sits well and participates in Circle Time and most Activities. He isn't a big fan of Painting but is getting better at trying. He loves the Playground!! Hopefully it will cool down soon. These kiddos get hot and sweaty😓 The Preschool invited Grandparents to come in a couple of weeks ago. Grandpa and Graham came and Logan was so happy to see them!! Lots of giggling and smiling! I know all his other awesome Grandparents would have come if they were close❤️...

It's Thursday and that means another school week is complete! It's was a great two days learning about the color red! On Tuesday Logan started in the Kitchen. Sadly there seems to be a Bully in his room. Before I could stop it the Bully pushed Logie down. I had to totally control myself!  After some tears and some obviously needed hugs he was much better and enjoyed Story Time with Miss Victoria. Every Circle Time starts with the Hello Song and the kids go over what they will learn that day and then afterwards they sing a couple of songs. Logan picked Wheels on the Bus of course! The Day also included going to the Music Room to play with instruments and then outside. To close out Tuesday, Logan made a Red Footprint. Hello Song! Having fun with Miss Victoria! Hi everyone!  Mommy here, we have a lot of updates for you so hold on! I may have mentioned Logan's CP doctor to you all before but as a quick reminder, she is a pediatric neurologist and actually has CP herself, she truly is our inspiration that anything is possible!!  She is located in Dallas, which works out well since Chris is from Dallas and his family is all still there, so we try to see her twice a year when we are out for holidays / visits.  Anyways, for the last 2 years she has done a conference called CP Prep for Life, it is filled with wonderful information about CP, including experts from all around the country, discussing how to best live and take care of our little ones with CP.  This was my second year attending and there is always so much information it is both mentally and emotionally taxing.  I hated being gone from my boys for almost a week (between that and work trips) however, we (Grandma Janet came with) come out of this year reinvigor...

Good Afternoon and Happy Friday! Sorry it has been awhile since my last Blog. Logan has been busy wrapping up the Summer and getting ready for School!  He started this past Tuesday at Northside Baptist Preschool and will be in the 2's Class on Tuesday and Thursday's. I am so lucky I will be able to be with him at school on these days. I will give you all the actual inside scoop!! First Day was great!  Logie was a little sad at first but quickly adjusted to his new classroom, teachers and friends. His favorite thing to do is play in the kitchen! Possible Future Chef😄 There are five girls and five boys and they are all blond except one!! Logan cruised around his new room like a pro! Activities included coloring, singing, playing in the science center, go outside on the updated playground and making a Dot Masterpiece!! Happy to be at his new school! Happy Monday! Logan had a great week at Music Camp! His favorite I believe out of the three he attended! He absolutely loves Music, it always brings a smile to his face😄 On Tuesday, he had such a great time outside on the slide and his little admirer Lydia was there again this week and they spent lots of time together😘 Waiting for the slide! She would make sure he always had something to play with and wanted to help him on the slide....so sweet! Loving some slide!! Time to get sandy!! I see you cutie!! Tuesday at Camp was truly packed full of fun! His favorite activities included playing in the Kitchen, meeting more new friends and of course the music activities!!
