Sorry it has been.a couple of weeks since my last post. There is a lot to catch you up on at school and some activities Logan and I have done during the month of October!🍂🍁
As you all know our little man turned 3 this month!! He had a very special Birthday Celebratiom surrounded by lots of Family. I know Mommy caught you up on all of that😀
Logan and I have tried to stay pretty busy when he is not in therapies or school. October is usually a nice time to be outside but not this year in Atlanta....so hot! But there were a couple of days that were bearable, so we took advantage of it! Some of our activities included the Zoo and walking around Marietta Square. Each place was decorated with Spooky Fall Decorations and of course lots of Pumpkins!!

This month in School the kids worked on the colors Orange and Red. They talked about Community Helpers and of course all things Fall. Logan continues to enjoy his Walker "Bike"! He also has lots of friends that want to help and play with him!! His best buddy is Sam. Their little Frienship is adorable! Sam is very protective almost possessive over Logis.. He lets everyone know he is the only one that can push Logan in the car or tickle him when he is sad.
Logan ventured out and also began to enjoy Finger Painting and playing with Playdough. He is usually all about the Electronics! He has become quite social and very talkative! Our little Parot for sure!

Unfortunately Logie wasn't feeling very well for Halloween but he did get to put on his Superman outfit for us and look the part. Bummed he missed out on the trick or treating but there is always next year! :)
Therapies have been going well, look at him standing on the horse!!! There is also a video of him swimming below, I warn you it is quite long but you can see what a little fish he has become!! We had to say goodbye to one of our favorite PTs this week unfortunately due to our new schedule coming up, we will miss Lisa a bunch!!

The title of this post says everything although you may not realize what it means...we have finally hit 2 very exciting milestones related to 5 & 6. Let me break them down for you... I like 5 & 6! As of yesterday morning our little man is now weighing in at 5 pounds 1.7 ounces!!! That means in just one month he has grown almost 2 pounds and is now the size of some regular term babies (albeit small ones). Also, now that he is 5 pounds he can get in a carseat safely (which means we can take him home as soon as everything else is ready) and he is almost growing out of his preemie clothes! Now on to 6...as of Wednesday afternoon they were able to finally move Logan down on his High Flow Nasal Cannula from level 7 to level 6. I was a little worried how he would do on this but honestly he is doing better than when he was at level 7. When I held him on Thursday he did the best he has ever done, he didn't drop his vitals too many times and f...
Happy Boy!! First I want to say I am sorry it has been so long since my last update but I am going to try to find the time (somewhere between working full time, the doctors appts and traveling to see clients) to keep you all updated on Logan's Journey, as it is quite a unique one. I have realized that this journey can be very lonely at times and that is my doing by not sharing as much as I could but hoping that this might be an outlet to get our story out there to the friends and family that love us so much and possibly anyone else going through the same thing. My first birthday...the cake was more fun to smash than eat!! Anyways, so I guess I have a lot to update everyone on, so bare with me on this first post! :) Ever since the Infantile Spasms stopped in July, Logan has been seizure free...WOOHOO!! He takes seizure medication twice a day to keep them at bay but from what we are able to tell they have stopped which is great news. Sin...
On my way home!! I am so excited to finally be able to write the post I have been waiting 2 months for...our little man has come home!! The past week has been quite an eventful one but in the end we have our baby at home with us. Logan made a ton of progress the last week in the hospital, moving to 8 bottles a day on Friday the 6th, moving off the cannula on Saturday the 7th and finally coming home exactly 2 months after he was born and 3 days after his original due date on Thursday, December 12th, weighing in at 7 pounds 3 ounces and 20 inches long!! It is such a crazy and wonderful feeling to finally have him here with us and for the first time in 3 months not to be at the hospital! There is this perfect and beautiful baby that has joined our daily lives and we couldn't be happier, I just love having my little family finally all together!!
